Caroline Anne
I have always had a creative side. From as early as elementary school, I couldn’t wait to get up and channel surf to find Captain Bob, the artist. I would sit and listen to him so intently, and try to replicate his art. I grew up surrounded by antiques and always found myself looking around my house for small items to paint, whether it was a bathroom shelf, kitchen cabinets, or old toy box, I always loved the transformation I had created. I traveled the world a bit in my mid-20s, then came back to New England to earn my BA in Criminal Justice, magna cum laude. After that accomplishment, and a couple years later, I found myself as a stay-at-home mom. It was fulfilling, for only a short while, I wanted to bring back my inner creativity. I would frequently wander into antique shops, tot-in-tow. I then found myself renting a 5 ft. shelf. My shelf, then became a corner, then a whole wall. I instantly became an antique/vintage/décor addict. My love for home decorating, staging and creativity began to explode!
Having start-up a former Vintage Antique Monthly Market, and help a friend start up her Antique/Vintage Cottage, my entrepreneurial efforts did not stop there. Since these former businesses have proven me much success and experience in the past, I was excited to start another new business venture. When deciding on what to name my new business, I took into consideration my love for quality goods, repurposing beautiful old pieces, hard work and fine home decor. I decided that this new business would appeal to more elegant, stylish, and upper class type of goods, thus POSH was born.
POSH Design Center is undoubtedly, unlike any other design center in the area.
